Super easy delicious crispy breadsticks to make at home
Ingredients
  • 300g water
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1 heaped tsp honey
  • 500g baker's flour
  • 2 tsp salt
Method
  1. Weigh water into Thermomix bowl.
  2. Add yeast, avoiding blades.
  3. Add honey.
  4. Warm 2 min/37/sp 2.
  5. Weigh in flour and add salt.
  6. Mix on dough setting for 4 minutes.
  7. Remove to an oiled bowl and cover. Leave to rise in a warm place until doubled.
  8. Preheat oven to 220c. Line 4 baking trays with baking paper.
  9. Tip out onto lightly floured bench. Spread into a circle and divide into four. Place three pieces back into bowl. Cover.
  10. Press out fourth piece into a rectangle. Cut off small pieces and roll out.
  11. Place onto trays leaving a little space in between.
  12. Bake for 10 minutes or so.
  13. When all baked, place back onto one tray and into warm (let it cool down after baking). Leave until oven is cold.
  14. Serve with a delicious dip.
Notes
Add Greek Seasoning for a different flavour. Use two teaspoons of seasoning and only 1 teaspoon of salt.
