Truly Australian due to the Macadamia nuts in them.<br \/>\nThanks to achookwoman from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forumthermomix.com\/index.php\">Thermomix Forum<\/a> for this recipe.<\/p>\n<p>This recipe was developed in the TM31.<\/p>\n<p><b>Macadamia ANZAC Biscuits<\/b><br \/>\n150g macadamias<br \/>\n120g butter<br \/>\n2 Tbsp Golden Syrup [100g]<br \/>\n100g rolled oats<br \/>\n180g plain flour<br \/>\n100g brown sugar<br \/>\n50g desiccated coconut<br \/>\n1 tsp. bicarbonate of soda<br \/>\n3 Tbsp of water<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 160c fan forced.<br \/>\nChop macadamias in Thermomix for a few seconds, stopping and starting to ensure even chopping. Leave in the bowl.<br \/>\nPlace butter and golden syrup in the bowl and heat for 2 minutes at 60c on speed 2.<br \/>\nAdd remainder of the ingredients and process on the knead setting for 20 seconds or so until mixed.<br \/>\nRoll dessert spoonfuls into balls and place on lined baking tray. Flatten with wet fingers. For nice round edges that won&#8217;t break off, place a cookie cutter around each bickie and circle around the edges.<br \/>\nBake for 15 minutes (soft biscuits) or 20 minutes (crispy biscuits).<br \/>\nRemove from oven and cool on tray for minute or so, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These are the most delicious ANZAC Bickies ever!
