It can be made dairy free using oil instead of butter, but the texture will be different.<br \/>\nThis is a Thermomix recipe but can easily be made in a food processor.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve made a few changes such as reducing the sugar content. I&#8217;d like to try it with maple syrup or agave next time.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-YO0kWO4fpQg\/UhH5gU_R-hI\/AAAAAAAABIw\/_S38mX9T1Do\/s1600\/Magic+Bean+Chocolate+Cake.JPG\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/islandrooster.net\/dev\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Magic-Bean-Chocolate-Cake.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"210\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><b>Magic Bean Chocolate Cake<\/b><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nPre heat oven to 180C<br \/>\nGrease a ring tin (I used a silicone one)<\/p>\n<p>420g can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed<br \/>\n1 Tbsp coffee (2 tsp coffee powder in a Tbsp hot water)<br \/>\n2 tsp vanilla extract or paste<br \/>\n125g softened butter<br \/>\n130g raw castor sugar<br \/>\n5 eggs (large)<br \/>\n70g good quality cocoa<br \/>\n1 tsp GF baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp bi-carb soda<br \/>\npinch salt<\/p>\n<p>Place kidney beans, coffee, 2 eggs and vanilla into TM or processor and blend until smooth. Remove and set aside. (If you have two TM bowls, it makes it easier!)<br \/>\nBeat butter and sugar on speed 5 for 1 minute or so, scraping down occasionally. Add 2 eggs and beat again for a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Add bean mixture with last egg and remaining ingredients and beat on speed 4 to 5, scraping down until mixture is homogenous.<br \/>\nPour into tin and bake for around 30 &#8211; 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.<\/p>\n<p><b>Buttercream Icing<\/b><br \/>\nJude Blereau<\/p>\n<p>125g softened unsalted butter<br \/>\n450g (2 cups) golden icing sugar (made from raw sugar)<br \/>\n60ml milk<br \/>\n2 tsp vanilla<br \/>\n2 &#8211; 3 Tbsp cocoa powder<br \/>\nBeat until smooth.
