Hot Dog Rolls/Buns

Recipe type: Bread Rolls
- 290g water
- 100g milk
- 2 tsp yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 700g bread flour
- 45g butter or oil
- 2 tsp salt
- Place water, milk, yeast and sugar into Thermomix bowl.
- Warm 3 min/37/sp 1.5.
- Add flour, oil or butter and salt.
- Knead 6 mins.
- Turn out into an oiled bowl and cover. Leave in a warm place to prove until more than doubled.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured bench.
- Place a container on top of your Thermomix lid and tare the scales. Weigh and then divide by 8.
- Shape into 8 balls, weighing each one.
- Press each ball out into a rectangle and roll from the top down, pressing in each time.
- Place onto baking tray a little apart from each other.
- Cover with a damp cloth and leave in a warm place to prove until at least doubled. Preheat oven to 200C part way through.
- Brush with milk and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden on top and sounding hollow when tapped.
- Cool on a wire rack. Keep them joined up until needed. I break into two lots of four and freeze half.
